Grove is our base camp, a motel and cottage resort on Highway 17 at Vermillion
Bay, your jump off spot. We have daily "fly in" and "drive
in" packages from here for those who want modern accommodations with cable
TV, carpeting throughout, individual beds all the amenities with daily maid
service and a different lake every day.

From
Pine Grove fishing is an adventure! Keeping boats on some
area lakes while trailering to many others allows us to be where the action is.
As well, our focus on the fishing allows our guests to use various fishing
methods and techniques. That coupled with the changing vistas and wildlife
encounters while on the road or on the lake make our operation more
"fishy"

The Best of
both worlds, we can make arrangements for your party to fish
lakes nearer our base camp for lake trout, bass, musky, or white fish for a day
or two then fly you into Northwinds for your walleye and northern.You may rent
a Northwinds lake for 3 or more days and add expeditions before and after for
fishing locally to lake of your choice.
Guides...
By hiring a guide, you don't spend you time looking for fish, and you'll arrive
earlier to the lake because the guide
knows the way. Guides also know
the equipment well so they can tell you what lures or bait is best and the
depth and location at which to use them. We offer large, well-equipped guide
boats with 150 HP motors for these excursions, which can handle up to
4 people
in addition to the guide. |

We
choose the lakes we fish because they each have different
characteristics and species of fish to be caught. Some are clear trout waters,
others are tea water and still there are murky clay lakes. Such water clarity
differences suit different fish and enable you to fish with a variety of
tackle.
We catch more
fish because of our flexibility of lakes to fish. |

CABIN #9
Cabin #9 is our
four person cabin with all the amenities,
carpeted throughout, cable tv, highspeed
internet, fridge, stove, microwave, air
conditioning and 2
bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room. It
also has a place to play cards and a
telephone in room.
CABIN #10
Cabin 10 is our 2
person cabin with all the amenities,
carpeted throughout, cable tv, highspeed
internet, fridge, stove, microwave, air
conditioning and 1
bedroom with 2 single beds. It also has a
place to play cards and a telephone in room.
This is a small quaint cabin popular with
our couples and fathers and sons.
