Pine Grove is our base camp, a motel and cottage resort on Highway 17 in Vermillion Bay, your jumping off spot. We have daily “fly in” and “drive in” packages from here for those who want modern accommodations with cable TV, carpeting throughout, individual beds all the amenities with daily maid service and a different lake every day. Even high speed internet!
From Pine Grove our guides will take you on daily adventure trips. On a 5-day trip you can fish 5 different lakes. My brother Scott and I have been fishing the lakes around Vermilion Bay for over 20 years.
We will use all our combined knowledge to take you to the best lakes in the area. From Pine Grove we use new Chevy trucks and deluxe boats to access over a dozen quality fisheries, including Lac Seul, Ord, Cedar, Indian, Clay, Lake X and many more. This flexibility allows our customers the piece of mind of knowing that they are fishing the most productive water. If a lake is “hot” (fish biting) we will be fishing it. If it is not then we will be elsewhere. This flexibility also means that our customers are in charge. They decide what species they are after and we will take them to the best lake for that species. Our operation keeps people on fish…period! If you are looking for a comfortable resort where fishing is the #1 priority, look no further! All your favourite species are available including walleye, northern, smallmouth bass, muskie, lake trout and whitefish.
After fishing with our guides you will also be a better angler. All of us will teach you many new techniques and approaches to fishing you have never used before.
The Lodge
Our dining room is a comfortable place to reflect on the day’s adventure and enjoy my Mom’s fantastic cooking! Bring a big appetite because her food is the best!
Our Equipment
We pride ourselves on how good our equipment is – New 21 foot Lund Impact boats with 200 hp Verado motors as well as new Toyota trucks to get us to the lakes.
