Report sept 15: a little cold last 10 days and a lot of wind. We persevered with the Staffaroni party and fished through some rough days. Fishing was off and on the entire first week of sept. Had to hide out a lot. Thankfully we still caught good numbers if walleyes on Lac Seul and did quite a bit of casting for pike on Clay. Biggest fish was a 40.5 incher caught by Tony Staffaroni. Tony also caught plenty of 36 inch us fish.Last week I was fishing with the Ringus party. We fished walleyes 2 days and Muskie 2
days. Caught 1 38 inch Muskie on Cedar and Jb caught a 45.5 incher on Indian lake. Weather kind of messed up our last day of fishing for walleyes on Lac Seul but we fished close to avoid the big waves and caught some decent fish.
September has been rough (weather wise) any hopes of a
Indian summer have disappeared. My last week is coming up and I am hoping we get some decent weather.
